We'll treat you with a tour to the most unique geological wonder in the world... Yellowstone National Park!  With it's 2,219,799 acres, and one of the largest intact temperate zone ecosystems on our planet... Yellowstone is truly astonishing!  Established in 1872, as the First National Park,Yellowstone is renowned for its spouting geysers, numerous hot springs, bubbling mud caldrons, breath taking canyons, pristine rivers, majestic waterfalls, and beautiful mountain lakes. Along the way be on the lookout for a moose munching on willows, or a grizzly bear and her cubs out enjoying the day. Witness the largest free ranging herds of bison in the wild, or bull elk relaxing in the shade. You may even see a wolf pack in the distance, or bald eagles soaring overhead.

In 1872, the west was viewed by most American's as something to be tamed, explored, settled, mined, logged, ranched, or farmed. It is remarkable that during this age of material exploitation in the west, the world's first national park was established. The creation of this park over a century ago is a remarkable indicator of how unique and magnificent Yellowstone, and it's surrounding area were perceived to be, even then!
